Rada Leu (*1984 in Sofia, Bulgaria) is an artist, musician and theatre director. Her research interests include digital culture, cyborgs, eyebrows, the global shipping market and DIY subcultures. After graduating with a BA in European Studies from King’s College London and Sciences PO, Paris, she is currently enrolled in the MA in Transdisciplinarity at the Zurich University of the Arts. She completed a residency on board of a shipping container as part of the Said to Contain project in 2016 and was the artist in residence for the 2018 Labor mit Utopieverdacht. She is the co-founder of QWAS, a multidisciplinary exchange programme between Switzerland and Kazakhstan, and runs an independent bookshop called MATERIAL. Rada Leu has illustrated various publications and is part of the all-female band Acid Amazonians, a Zurich-based electronic music and performance trio.
